After the rich man received the evil report, he did not give his steward any chance to defend himself as he immediately told him that he could NO LONGER be a steward. I am sure many of us have witnessed people victimised or sacked from their jobs because of a false accusation and unfortunately they were not given the benefit of the doubt to defend themselves. Has anybody in recent times taken a position against you, that you will NO LONGER be promoted even though you have been recommended? Has someone recently tried to terminate your job for no just reason? Today every negative pronouncement shall be reversed.Although the rich man told the man he will no longer be a steward, he did not have the final say in this story. At the end, Jesus commended the steward for the steps he took to salvage the situation.It will therefore be safe to assume the steward eventually was able to save his job. No matter what threat anyone has made against you with regards to your job, marriage, business or church, THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY.Jesus will have the final say on your matter.
